Our client's roots began 20 years ago in the local markets and has grown to be a well-known brand supplying cafes and restaurants in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Northern NSW regions.
This position has been created to allow the owner to focus on sourcing the best beans from around the world and deliver maximum flavour for customers to enjoy.
It will involve not only maintaining positive relationships with existing customers, but also introducing new customers and growing wholesale sales within the brands chosen markets.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you come from a hospitality background and can understand and relate to the challenges faced by owners of cafés and restaurants to allow you to take a consultative approach to sales. You will also need to be a people person, with sales experience in the coffee or related industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to create rapport and build relationships. Additionally, you must be a self-starter who is highly organised to develop and record a regular and systemised call cycle.
