SNAP (Special Needs Accommodation Placement Programs) assists organisations and families through a variety of different programs and services from Kids Holiday Camps, Adult Camps, Accommodation Services and Mentoring and Skill Building. All services are backed by the NDIS and other organisations authorized to offer flexible delivery options for respite and emergency accommodation.

The role of Human Resources Manager is integral to the successful operation of the organisation and requires a person who is both professional and empathetic in the carrying out of their role

The Role:

  • Coordinate all recruitment and selection ensuring all staff are compliant with Criminal Record Checks and Working with Children Checks
  • Onboarding employees providing employment agreements and all relevant paperwork
  • Coordinate probation periods and performance reviews
  • Consulting around underperformance management and associated reporting
  • Maintain and develop policies and HR documents
  • Provide advice to management regarding awards, employment legislation and disciplinary matters
  • Managing Return to Work and injury cases

You in the Role:

  • A tertiary HR qualification and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • A sound working knowledge of the SCHADS Award
  • An ability to engage with staff and clients and embrace the ethos of the organisation
  • Communication skills both written and verbal that are clear and respectful
  • The ability to work in a temporary capacity with a view to permanent
